"Why not? I mean it's going to be fun, and besides we'll have the opportunity to win some points for Slytherin. And he's right, being on the team is quite an honour too." he replied with a convincing voice. "Well, as soon as the team is complete, I think that the captain will organize a few training sessions per week so that we can learn to play together and improve our skills. But until then we can practice for ourselves if you want, since the Quidditch Pitch is available for students whenever they want. I don't know if you've bought a broom, but I'm sure the school can lend you one if you haven't. So, what do you think?" he asked her while pouring some pumpkin juice into his own goblet.

"Well, with you describing everything to me, Quidditch does sound fun," Kim said, looking at her plate. "but Slytherin's team should need more members soon."

"Alright then, I'll join if you'll join! I think it would be a lot of fun while playing Quidditch with your friends," she finally decided. She ate another bite of her chicken and poured some mushroom soup to her bowl. "I really do hope that quidditch would start sooner." she added.

While having the conversation, the Entrance Hall is starting to be crowded of hungry students expecting for delicious food. Kim watched each of them enter the hall, observing their faces and house pins in their robes. Trying to memorize all of her school mates.

"Remember what you said about your family? You told me that all the Adlars are from Slytherin. Don't you think that some professors or even Bloody Baron remember some of them?" she asked Richard, regretting the question that came out of her mouth, as if she would trigger a bad memory from Richard's past.

"Great ! Then we will join as soon as the trials begin. And since I want to be a Chaser, there won't be any competition between us." he replied, excited. After drinking some of his pumpkin juice, he added: "And you're right, we should try to convince other Slytherins to join the team. Unfortunately, I still haven't met anyone else from our House. Have you?"

He pursued eating his dinner, enjoying every bite of the incredibly tasteful food. He wondered who was preparing all these meals, and how did they just appear like that on the tables, apparently coming from nowhere. Suddenly, he heard Kim ask him about his family. "I haven't thought of that" he answered. "The professors seem too young to remember any of the Adlards, but maybe the Bloody Baron knows something. I'll ask him next time I see him. How about your family? The one on your father's side, I mean. Do you think any of the ghosts knows anything about them?"

"Well, I think three of them became prefects and two others became house boy and girl. But, my father said once that almost all of our wizards and witches ancestors were seekers. Maybe that's the reason why my father wanted me become one," Kim answered, taking a sip from her soup. "And, I am also afraid of the Bloody Baron. I almost freaked out when he appeared in our DADA class. Professor Umbranox sure have a weird taste."

Kim almost finished her food when desserts started to fill their table. She immediately approached her favorite ones: blueberry cheesecake and some apple pie. Some students already went out of the hall, preparing to get enough rest for tomorrow's classes.

"Well, I'm sure you're going to be an amazing Seeker yourself then." he replied with a smile. "I agree that he doesn't look very friendly." he pursued about the Bloody Baron. "Did you see the blood stains on his robe? And the chains he wears? I wonder what is that all about. But did you know that ghosts actually can't harm you? They can't even touch you, since they just pass right through you. They are quite less scary when you consider that, aren't they?" he asked while taking some blueberry cheesecake too.

After dinner, they headed back towards the Slytherin Dungeon. Full after the abundant and delicious meals and tired after his first day of school, Richard decided to retire to the boys' dormitory. "We should definitely continue our exploration of the Castle in the following days" he suggested to Kim as he was climbing the staircase leading to it. "I'll see you tomorrow" he added before disappearing behind the door.

"Richard," Kim was about to say thank you for everything that happened today but Richard already went on his dormitory.

Kim went on her way to the girls' dormitory while smiling, remembering all that had happened with Richard.
